While it is still unknown whether or not we will see an alternate cut of Justice League that harbors director Zack Snyder’s original version of the film, there is possible confirmation that we may be seeing some sort of an extended cut of the DC Comics team-up film when it hits home video.
After the news broke that Justice League was listed for a home video release this upcoming March, a new listing on the German Amazon website seemingly confirms that we will be getting not only different formats of the film but also a limited edition of Justice League that holds a running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes versus the theatrical cut of the film which clocked in at right around 2 hours.
While it may not be the fully intact Snyder version of the film that many fans have petitioned and been clamoring for, the extra 15 minutes slated to be included with this limited edition of Justice League seems to indicate that we could see some scenes that were widely reported to have been left on the cutting room floor. This could include extra scenes taking place in Atlantis featuring Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and the Easter Egg that featured Superman’s infamous black suit from the comics.
Hopefully, in the coming weeks, there will be some sort of confirmation soon from Warner Brothers pertaining to this listing as it will no doubt be a version of the film that many DC Comics fans will want to get their hands on.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Connie Nielsen, Julian Lewis Jones and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is now playing in theaters!
