Every so often, a fan gets lucky enough to get an invite to a superhero movie before it is actually released. We saw that earlier this year with Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in Avengers: Infinity War, when he invited a bullied fan to the show; meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds looks to follow that example by telling a fan who just lost his wisdom teeth that he can bring a friend to the movie.
In a scene that hearkens back to the infamous viral video David After Dentist, a man’s wife records his reaction to being doped up with anaesthetic following a painful wisdom teeth extraction. The man is high as a kite in the video — so high, in fact, that he thinks that Deadpool 2 already came out and he missed it. Ryan Reynolds took notice and decided to make sure that that won’t happen when the time comes by inviting him — and a guest of his choice — to the premiere of his sequel:
The less said about the logistics behind wisdom-testicles, the better, but this is a great move by Reynolds that shows how much he cares about the fans. Hopefully, whatever the dentists hit the fan up with won’t impede his ability to enjoy the movie when it’s actually showtime.
Deadpool 2 is gunning for a June 1, 2018 release date. Its cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson (Deadpool), Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T. J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin (Colossus), Zazie Beetz as Neena Thurman (Domino), Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers (Cable), and Jack Kesy as Black Tom Cassidy.
